Torre Abbey, The King's Drive Torquay TQ2 5JE. The workshop is in the Learning Lab. With the sea behind you and the Abbey in front of you, the learning lab is ahead to the right of the main staircase at the front of the building.

About the event

FREE family drop-in ART WORKSHOP!

Get creative with paint as we celebrate our amazing ash trees and the wildlife that lives amongst their leaves and bark! This event is for everyone, a great chance for you and your family to collaborate and explore colourful and vibrant painting techniques. We'll be using acrylic paint and paint pens so please wear clothes that can get messy!

Part of Saving Devon's Treescapes project, a partnership project led by Devon Wildlife Trust on behalf of the Devon Ash Dieback Resilience Forum and supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, One Tree Planted and other funders. There are steps at the front but we can open the side gate for an accessible entrance if needed.

What to bring

To be the most vivid paint for a large mural, we're using acrylics. These paints can stain so please dress with your 'let's get messy' clothes. Apron's are provided (adult / big kid sizes).
