Volunteer Awards now open!

The nominations for this year’s Volunteer Awards are now open

The Volunteer Awards are a chance to recognise the volunteers that go above and beyond in their role to help out DWT. Anyone can nominate a volunteer for an award, and they will be presented at the AGM in November.

In terms of the rules around nominations for the awards, it currently stands that:

  • Volunteers may only receive an award for the same role once in a seven year period.  If volunteers are nominated in subsequent years, this fact will be noted and in time they may be put forward for a Fellowship.
  • Volunteers may receive additional awards for different volunteer roles within DWT.
  • Volunteers may be nominated in a couple or as a small team if what they have achieved has been a joint effort and where it would not be appropriate to single out any individual.

To make a nomination for the awards, please download a nomination form (below).  Completed nomination forms must be returned no later than the 15th September 2019.

If you have any questions about the volunteer awards, do get in touch by calling us on 01392 279244 or emailing:
