Free Trees for Landowners and Community Groups
The Two Moors Pine Marten Project, with support from the Woodland Trust, is providing free trees for landowners and community groups to help improve their land and support woodland species like pine martens.
The tree packs are filled with fruiting tree species which provide an essential source of food for pine martens and other woodlands creatures. You will also receive tree guards made from biodegradable material and bespoke guidance from your local Pine Marten Field Officer on how to improve your land to support woodland wildlife.
There are three packs available to choose from:
- Small tree pack - 30 trees and tree guards e.g. aimed at adding standards to hedges or planting a small copse.
- Large tree pack - 100 trees and tree guards e.g. for larger hedging projects or larger planting areas.
- Hedging pack – between 100-600 trees for hedges, with spiral guards.
There are a limited number of free tree packs for planting during this coming autumn/winter season 2026. Trees will be allocated to successful applicants on a first come first serve basis.
