About the event

Join for a lovely chance to explore woodland paths and see spring flowers such as primroses, celandine and bluebells and listen to evening birdsong at Roborough Woods. 

Meet at the Square in West Down before heading on a slow walk with plenty of opportunities to stop and learn more about the amazing spring wildlife.

There are no toilets close to the wood.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Mobility

This walk isn’t suitable for wheelchairs. It will be around steep, sloping woodland paths and access involves crossing a stream and climbing a stile.

As it is a woodland path the footpaths are uneven and there are some slopes. The paths may be slippery if there has been wet weather.

What to bring

Dress for the weather and stout walking shoes/boots and walking sticks are recommended. Insect repellent may be advisable as there are deer in the woodland and ticks are possible.

Parking information

There is parking at the square in West Down where you may be able to car share and park closer.
