DWT’s vision is for nature to be restored on a grand scale, both on land and at sea, and for people everywhere to have the opportunity to get close to it, enjoy it and help to protect it. 

Our marine engagement programme, based at Wembury Marine Centre, aims to empower a generation of conservationists, from all walks of life, to understand, appreciate and take action for our local marine environment. 

Our yellow army of volunteers support all areas of our work: from public rockpool and snorkel safaris to citizen science surveys and school education activities.
