About the event

A walk with Mary Breeds to look at the lovely woodland in the area and the species there including a beautiful Devon special species - Bastard Balm, along with the rare Wild Service Tree.

Know before you go:

  • There is parking along the road
  • There are no toilets close by
  • This walk is not suitable for wheelchair access
  • Woodland walks can be slippery and muddy in places . This woodland is on the side of a hill so some uphill and downhill walking. Sturdy footwear and a stick useful. Clothes to suit the weather conditions
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Participants are solely responsible for their own and their children’s safety and well-being, including ensuring they have the appropriate clothing and are aware of their own capabilities.
  • No dogs allowed
