About the event

Lichens are able to tell us a lot about a tree and it’s surrounding area. By recording a selection of them through the SDT project we can gather vital information about Devon’s treescapes.

Jess Smallcombe from DBRC will be leading the session, going through everything you need to know to start monitoring. There will also be space for you to ask questions.

Don't worry if you are unable to attend this event, we will be recording the sessions and adding it to the Devon Wildlife Trust YouTube channel after so you can watch it at a time that suits you.

Saving Devon's Treescapes is a new project which began earlier this year. It is led by Devon Wildlife Trust on behalf of the Devon Ash Dieback Resilience Forum. It's a partnership project supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund as well as other funders. Read more about the project and find other ways to get involved here.
