We are looking for volunteers to represent Devon Wildlife Trust and accompany our SWWFL membership recruiters at two events: RHS Rosemoor (16th – 18th August) and Goren Festival in Stockland, East Devon (28th – 30th June 2019).

Purpose:

To represent Devon Wildlife Trust and accompany our SWWFL membership recruiters at two events: RHS Rosemoor (16th – 18th August) and Goren Festival in Stockland, East Devon (28th – 30th June 2019).

What the task involves:

To give out wild flower seeds and information on wildlife gardening.  To talk to children and adults about how they can make their garden more wildlife friendly.

Skills and abilities

To be happy to talk to and interact with people.

To be able to work with others.

To be interested and enthusiastic about local wildlife – though you don’t have to be an expert!

To have use of a car and able to drive or have someone that can take and collect you from the event / activity venues along with a table.

To represent the Trust in a professional and friendly manner.

RHS Rosemoor Torrington EX38 8PH / Goren Festival Stockland, Honiton, Devon, EX14 9EN

When and how often:

RHS Rosemoor 16thand 17th August.  Goren Festival 28th and 29th June

What’s in it for the volunteer?

Volunteers will meet people that are interested in wildlife and wildlife gardening. Volunteers will help Devon Wildlife Trust membership recruiters and have the satisfaction of helping more families live a wilder life.
