About the Roles

You can support the Devon Greater Horseshoe Bat Project in a number of different ways. From practical conservation to helping out at events, we have lots of volunteering opportunities to suit all. 

Examples of volunteer roles include:

  • Devon Bat Survey - data analysis volunteer
  • Devon Bat Survey  - host centre volunteer
  • Giving talks about the project
  • Leading walks
  • Practical conservation
  • Helping at events
  • Developing our network of Bat Trails
  • Website/social media
  • Educational – developing our schools activities (primary/secondary)
  • Community – helping your local area become bat-friendly
  • Office/admin support

Skills
