What is the Wilder Communities Award?

We have been inspired by the hundreds of communities across Devon leading amazing projects that are helping wildlife where they live, learn, work, or play, so we have launched a brand-new award to celebrate your efforts.

If you are already part of a community group and are busy taking actions for nature, we want to hear from you.

We're looking for groups who are...

Creating space for nature: are you providing opportunities for wildlife to have more food, water and homes in your community?

Protecting your local environment: how are you looking after your local environment, such as protecting clean water, healthy soils, clean air, reducing waste or pollution in your community?

Connecting people with nature: how does your project bring people together and allow people to discover, learn and connect with nature?

Connecting spaces across the landscape: is your project part of a wider network of spaces across the landscape in your local area?
