Woodah Farm work party

Woodah Farm volunteers cutting and burning gorseWoodah Farm volunteers cutting and burning gorse

Various conservation tasks are undertaken at this beautiful 140 acre site.

About the role

Last Saturday of every month, start 9.30am and finish 2.30pm.  Read our task description to find out more.

What skills do you need?

You don’t need to know much about conservation as trained staff and volunteers will be on hand to teach you the skills you need. You are encouraged to work at your own pace, to take rests when you need them, and therefore you do not need to start with a high level of fitness.

Please wear suitable clothes (appropriate to weather, ones you don’t mind getting damaged) and footwear (stout – steel toe-capped boots are best, or wellies or walking boots). Bring a drink and lunch if staying the day. You are welcome to come along and just “have a go”.
