Active Neighbourhoods Volunteering

Get involved in activities such as tree planting, hedge laying, planting and surveying wildflowers, making new paths and much more!

Active Neighbourhoods is a new joint project with Plymouth City Countil. Its aim is to work with communities around five of Plymouth's urban wildlife sites to improve these local green spaces both for wildlife and people.

These areas include:

Budshead Wood
Ernesettle Creek
Kings Tamerton Wood
Efford Marsh
Teats Hill

As part of the project there is an extensive programme of volunteering days with regular activities on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with occasional additional days on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
