Uppacott Wood
Uppacott Wood is a delightful ancient woodland site situated on a hill with wide views of the surrounding north Devon countryside. It contains examples of restored coppice, derelict coppice, alder flush and mature oak woodland. The cut path around the reserve takes the visitor to many points of interest including some extremely rare Devon whitebeam trees, coppice and steeped hedges.
