WILDLIFE CHARITY RAISES MONEY IN FAIR WAY

12th June, 2008

Devon Wildlife Trust (DWT) held its 6th annual corporate golf tournament last week at Dawlish Warren Golf Club. The popular charity event was won by the team of four from Exeter based printing company Sprint Print.

The team from South West Water came in second and Bardon Aggregates came in a close third. Once again the event was held in glorious sunshine and raised over £3,500 for the charity’s work protecting wildlife throughout the county.

DWT’s Corporate Relations Officer, Tracy Ebbrell said: ‘It is great to have another new winner for the competition, South West Water were on for their third win but were beaten by an excellent round from Sprint Print. We would like to thank all the 17 teams for taking part and helping us to raise so much money for our work throughout Devon. ”

Sprint Print will now hold on to the charity shield to display in their offices for the rest of the year. Each team member also received a winner’s medal and a set of Dartington glass.

For more information about entering a team in next year’s event or find out more about DWT's corporate work contact Corporate Relations Officer, Tracy Ebbrell on 01392 279244 or email tebbrell@devonwildlifetrust.org
