How we're funded and what we spend
DWT is a registered charity. In recent years we have generated annual income of £2.5 - £3 million.
This income comes from a mix of sources - from our members and supporters, from grants and trusts, from corporate supporters, local groups, legacies and landfill tax credits. As you will see from other pages on this website - we are involved in a huge range of fundraising activities and are constantly looking for new ways to generate support for our work.
Overall - of every £1 we receive, more than 80p is spent directly on our frontline local conservation work.
