Cookworthy office
DWT bought its property at Cookworthy in 2001 when part of the site
was sold off by the Forestry Commission.
Cookworthy is currently the north Devon base for the Working Wetlands project which is aiming to create a Living Landscape on the Culm by working with local landowners.
The offices are not open to
the general public, but the site is a good place to bring a bike (there
is room for cars to park) and ride the cycle trail to DWT’s Halwill
Junction nature reserve.
