Could you become a Trustee?

Devon Wildlife Trust volunteer trusteesCould you become a one of our trustees?

Devon Wildlife Trust is a welcoming community of people – members and supporters, volunteers, partners and staff - who share a love of Devon’s wildlife and who work together to protect it.

Our Board of Trustees plays a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the charity and ensuring that it is run properly and effectively.

We are currently seeking new Trustees

Trusteeship is a voluntary role where people who care about Devon’s wildlife work together to provide strong leadership for the charity and help it to achieve its vision of a Devon rich in wildlife, for everyone and valued by all.

We believe that serving as a Trustee with Devon Wildlife Trust is a rewarding experience. Not only do our Trustees play a leading role in safeguarding Devon’s stunning wildlife and wild places for future generations, but DWT is a friendly, welcoming organisation, with high standards of delivery, a highly competent management team, a track record of good governance and a lot of ambition.

DWT is committed to achieving equality and valuing diversity across the organisation and is seeking to better reflect this commitment in relation to the Board of Trustees. We would welcome trustee applications from all sections of the community, and, in particular, from women, younger candidates and those from a Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic (BAME) background.

Further information about the role and selection process will be available later in January 2018. In the meantime however, to register your interest and/or if you have any questions please contact Sarah Loweth on 01392 279244 or
